A little birdie tells me that Mani Ratnam is one angry man these days. It seems the filmmaker is mighty miffed with the rumours in the media about Ravana.The rumours have to do with a supposed re-shoot of the film where Southern star Vikram who has supposedly overshadowed Abhishek Bachchan's performance.
Whereas it seems that the reasons why Mani and his team are packing themselves off to the deep jungles of Kerala are varied.
For one, Mani Ratnam's heart attack and the hospitalisation had put the schedule off gear. And then getting the entire cast and requisite permissions to shoot in the forests took some time.
Meanwhile, I am told, a certain disgruntled actor may have taken the pains to start the rumours which spread like, well, wildfire!
However now that things have finally fallen into place, everyone's back shooting in the jungle. And for a change no one wants to say 'bachao'!
